Dictionary of Welsh Biography

The Centre is responsible for the Dictionary of Welsh Biography in partnership with the National Library of Wales . The original volumes were published by the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion , and the entire contents are now freely available to the public on the NLW website, http://yba.llgc.org.uk/en . The current Editor is Emeritus Professor Dafydd Johnston with Professor Elin Haf Gruffydd Jones as Assistant Editor. The Centre and the Library, with the support of the Cymmrodorion and the Learned Society of Wales , are currently seeking to raise funds to maintain and develop this essential work of reference.
